How to listen to an unlisted podcast
Pacific Content recommends listening to rough cuts of podcast episodes in real-world contexts (e.g. going outside for a walk).
Why?
Your audience will most likely listen to your episodes inside a podcast app like Apple Podcasts or Google Podcast. They likely won't listen inside Google Drive in a browser tab, while simultaneously looking at a written script. Pacific Content wants you to experience rough cuts in as realistic a listening environment as possible.
To this end, your Audience Development specialist may share an unlisted podcast feed so you can listen to rough cuts inside an actual podcast app. Your unlisted RSS feed will probably look something like this:
Open the Podcasts app
Tap Library
Tap Edit in the upper right corner, and then tap “Add a Show by URL...”
Enter your RSS feed URL (e.g. https://feeds.simplecast.com/_WP09NZ3)
Tap Follow
Open the Podcasts app
Select File, then “Add a Show by URL...”
Enter your RSS feed URL (e.g. https://feeds.simplecast.com/_WP09NZ3)
Select Follow

Open the Google Podcasts app
Tap Activity
Tap Subscriptions
Tap ... in the upper right corner, and then tap "Add by RSS feed"
Enter your RSS feed URL (e.g. https://feeds.simplecast.com/_WP09NZ3)
Tap Subscribe.
