Apple Podcasts Channels
In June 2021, Apple Podcasts rolled out Apple Podcasts Channels. A channel is a way to group multiple podcasts together in Apple Podcasts. For example, Charles Schwab could create a Charles Schwab-specific Apple Podcasts Channel that includes Choiceology, Financial Decoder, WashingtonWise Investor, etc.
This is how Apple Podcasts Channels appear on the web and within the Mac Podcasts app and iOS Podcasts app: click for live version.
In order to create a new Apple Podcasts Channel, we need:
A list of shows to include in the channel
A channel name (up to 25 characters)
A channel description (up to 4000 characters)
A channel logo (3000 x 750 pixels, full specs and template available here)
A channel icon (round, 3000 x 3000 pixels, full specs and template available here)
A background colour (six-digit hex value)
(Optionally) A website URL that corresponds to the channel
Pacific Content is happy to create and manage our clients' Apple Podcasts Channels. In order for a podcast to be included in a Pacific Content-managed Apple Podcasts channel, Pacific Content must have "Admin" privledges for the show in Apple Podcasts Connect.
